On Thursday, May 21, Sinner Saint Burlesque is thrilled to bring back Down to Brass Tacks! Sinner Saint’s Shimmy Shakedown of Seattle’s Heroic Herstory! Starring Doña Dei Cuori , Diva le Déviant, Hobo Jones, Sailor St. Claire, Lady Tatas and special guest Chastity Svelte!

The city of Seattle has a colorful history carved out by the Denny party, a burgeoning seaport, and the promise of gold just a boat ride away. This history is populated by tales of pioneering men, but Sinner Saint isn’t interested in telling you what you already know. Instead, those wily women of Sinner Saint Burlesque will take over Brass Tacks in Georgetown for a new burexploration of the sheroes of Seattle’s herstory. From “seamstresses,” to medicine woman Violet McNeal, to Mayor Bertha, thewomen of Seattle’s past deserve their time in the spotlight, and Sinner Saint Burlesque is thrilled to tell their stories in one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods.
